Ganesh Bhatt

Founder of Company

Ganesh Bhatt, Founder of Devbhoomi Contractor and Services Company (also known as Connect Devbhoomi), is a native of Bagwan village in Devprayag, Uttarakhand. Raised in a humble background and educated in a government school in the hills, he has always carried a vision to empower rural communities through skill development and entrepreneurship. In 2009, he pioneered digital education in Uttarakhand by establishing GCTC Computer Education Institute, which expanded to 36 branches and trained more than 1,000 students.
With the support of IIEWS, he provided free computer training to over 500 BPL students, enabling them to build sustainable livelihoods. His dedication to society was further recognized during the COVID-19 pandemic when he converted his personal Nano car into a free ambulance, earning national recognition as a “Corona Warrior of India” by Dettol Handwash Company. Later, he founded Devbhoomi Contractor and Services Company, expanding into construction support services and successfully executing projects with reputed organizations such as L&T Construction, PTCUL Uttarakhand, and Herrenknecht India Pvt. Ltd. Under his leadership, the company has earned a reputation for quality, reliability, and professionalism in challenging terrains, while creating employment opportunities for local youth & women and strengthening rural supply chains. Guided by a mission to deliver dependable services in construction and logistics, generate employment in rural Uttarakhand, support infrastructure development in hilly regions, and contribute to society through service and innovation.
Ganesh Bhatt envisions building a trusted partner and collaborator in Uttarakhand and beyond, blending local strength with professional excellence to uplift communities and create a sustainable future.

Mr. Pankaj Kumar Mishra is the Mentor and advisor of Connect Devbhoomi, a platform created to support innovation, tourism, wellness, and business growth across Uttarakhand. With over 25 years of global leadership experience, including senior roles at BNP Paribas and JPMorgan Chase, he brings deep expertise in strategy, operations, governance, and execution. Driven by a strong professional and personal connection with Uttarakhand, he is driving Connect Devbhoomi to build trusted local linkages for entrepreneurs, investors, travelers, and institutions. He is also the founder of www.charwaha.com, an initiative focused on strengthening India’s animal husbandry ecosystem.
